Recent creations include: QS_300, the first portable system in the world for non-destructive internal quality inspection of fruit; UNICAL 200 cherry, an extremely high power calibrating machine for cherries and cherry tomatoes, with quality and color selection; SPEED PACKING, an automatic electronic packaging machine for weighing, calibrating, color and shape, ideal for packing fruit in bunches like tomatoes and grapes.

In 2002, UNITEC was the first concern in its sector to achieve ISO 9001:2000 (Vision 2000) quality certification. In 2001 UNITEC also achieved ISO 14001:2004 environmental certification and OHSAS 18001:1999 certification for safety in the workplace. |
