| Recyclable packing systems |
The CPR System was created in 1998 in response to a series of demands, through both production and distribution alike, such as logistical costs throughout the industry and the difficulties faced in the disposal of packaging products.
 |
The members of the cooperative are represented by the industry market leaders; producers, distributors (Coop, Conad, Gruppo PAM, A&O, Crai, Sigma, SISA, Dao, and many others) packaging printers and service companies (transporters and carriers).
CPR packaging is a special re-usable, recyclable container with collapsible sides. The main characteristics are its ability to be re-used, its practicality and its cost effectiveness.
|
It can be used in all areas of the production industry and allows, with its collapsible sides, space saving and lower transportation costs when transported empty (4 packages collapsed = 1 open). The transportation system is based on the purchase of containers by the members of the cooperative and on a clear management cost, worked out by the relationship between actual transportations made to services rendered.
Management of CPR occurs through Logistical Centres throughout the nation (nine and two washing centres); strategically located to dispose of or wash the containers. The location of such centres allows a complete national coverage with an excellent service in proximity to the user. Coop, Conad, Gruppo PAM, A&O, Crai, Sigma, Dao and many others.
